Our Story
In 2023, a diverse coalition of business leaders—from managing directors and company owners to employees and investors—united with a shared purpose. Recognszing the need for a collective voice, they established the Wadeville Action Group to advocate for the area’s business community.
Our founding mission was clear: to build a constructive partnership with the City of Ekurhuleni while ensuring accountability for essential services and infrastructure maintenance. Through strategic engagement with local government and community stakeholders, we are creating a platform that amplifies the voices of Wadeville’s business community and drives positive change in our area
Our focus
Our immediate focus is on expanding membership and strengthening our financial foundation to sustain vital services—from daily area maintenance to enhanced security measures.
Looking ahead, we are committed to achieving 51% business participation in Wadeville while fostering a productive partnership with the City of Ekurhuleni. This collaboration is essential, as lasting improvements to our area depend on a strong, united effort between our business community and local government.
Keeping Wadeville
Clean and Inviting
Our top priority is maintaining a clean Wadeville, and the majority of our monthly donations are dedicated to this essential effort, ensuring a healthier, more appealing environment for everyone.
Building Community
Through Participation
To grow beyond 52 members and achieve 51% community participation. This milestone will allow us to formalise our efforts through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the City of Ekurhuleni.
